Ulta Beauty • Digital Gift Cards

Gift cards have been a fulfilling side project for me at Ulta Beauty. I volunteer each season so work on a few as a way to flex my design & animation skills while having a bit of fun!
The Process
We start each round of gift cards by assigning designers a subject. Once I receive my subjects for the round, I pull swipe and concept the design. Once I feel good about 1-2 ideas, I will begin rough sketches and refine inspiration for our first round of review.
From there, I will give direction to the photo studio if photographs are needed and work with them to create the perfect shot. Once I have everything needed, I begin final design and refine after our second round of critiques.
When the design is finalized I create final deliverables and package them to be used digitally on the Ulta Beauty Website.
